What is your fitness background?
I’m a longtime distance runner and yogi, did a brief stint in powerlifting (lifting and coaching), 200hr RYT(registered yoga teacher) with additional certification in yin/restorative and hot yoga.
What do you think is most important in a fitness philosophy?
My “keys” to fitness are balance and fun. If you’re not having fun, it’s hard to stick with something. I also think balance is important- we all need rest, stretch, and recharging to get back at the WERK. These are why I love teaching at SPENGA- the workouts are fun and challenging, we get to put a creative spin on each one and our members are just the best! So supportive and encouraging- it truly is a family!

What is your go to pre or post-workout snack?
Bananas with a little almond butter is my go to pre workout. I make my own kombucha and love it as a post workout refuel!
We know instructors aren’t *supposed* to choose...but fess up. RIDE, REP, or REVIVE?!
REVIVE/Yoga of course!
What is your favorite part of being a SPENGA instructor?
I love the variety and getting to see all of our amazing and fun members too- there’s just something amazing about the group experience- we’re all in it together!
